Nationwide Government Shutdown Food Drive
About the Food Drive
This is a non-partisan, community-based effort to help those who are being impacted by the government shutdown. If your heart goes out to those facing food scarcity and you want to help in a meaningful way, this is it! Let’s come together to provide relief by having food drives across the nation. Even providing one person with one meal makes a big difference to them.
When: Nationwide food drive push now through Nov. 26, 2025
How to get involved: Click “Find a food drive” below to check time and location of food drives happening in your area and to donate and volunteer. If there is not a food drive in your area yet, please consider hosting a location by clicking “start a local food drive.” Already have a food drive planned? Add it to our list so we can help give more visibility to your event and get the word out to as many as possible!
Our Goal: We want to have a food drive in all 50 states and neighborhoods all across America.
No community is untouched by this. Let’s come together to support our communities, to heal the divide, and to remind us all that we are stronger together!
